Duties
- Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance in accordance with their care plans
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care
- Support clients in engaging with activities that promote mental and physical well-being
- Use IT tools to update care records accurately and efficiently
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure environment for everyone
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving transportation of clients
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- Basic IT skills for updating electronic care records and communicating effectively within a team
- Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- A caring attitude combined with enthusiasm for supporting others’ independence

Pay: £25,420.00-£35,797.69 per year
