Location: The Porter Cottage, Sheffield
Overview:
We are seeking two reliable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our growing team. The role covers daily cleaning of Trippets, three Airbnb apartments above the venue, and daily cleaning of the company's other pub, The Porter Cottage. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitise all areas of the venue to daily standards (bar, dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, back-of-house).
Perform daily cleaning and turnover of three Airbnb apartments above the venue, including light housekeeping tasks as required.
Clean and refresh public and staff spaces at the owner’s other pub as scheduled.
Restock supplies (toiletries, consumables) and report inventory needs.
Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with policy.
Operate cleaning equipment safely and maintain equipment in good working order.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow health and safety, food safety, and licensing requirements at all sites.
Maintain a high level of reliability, punctuality, and discretion, especially in guest-facing areas.
Requirements:
Prior cleaning experience, preferably in hospitality, hospitality-led accommodation, or multi-site environments.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong time management.
Excellent attention to detail and a pride in delivering high standards.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (lift, bend, stand for extended periods).
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Basic communication skills (ability to report issues and coordinate with supervisors).
