Location: Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year ( depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

The Role
As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will carry out servicing, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service within customers’ homes.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair domestic gas boilers and heating systems
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
Work safely and efficiently in occupied residential properties
Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations
Complete job reports and paperwork accurately
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times
Manage your daily workload and appointments effectively
Essential Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence
Current ACS Gas Qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and
repair
Fault-finding and diagnostic skills across domestic heating systems
Installation experience preferred but not essential
Good understanding of current gas safety regulations and industry standards
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and effectively manage your workload
A professional and reliable approach to work
Right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills
Experience working with a variety of boiler manufacturers
Willingness to undertake further training and development
Ambition to progress within the business
