We have exciting new opportunities for a Van Sales Driver and a Warehouse Operative to join our growing business.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Van Sales Driver is responsible for the delivery and collection of parts in a timely and efficient manner. The role carries the responsibility for providing an exceptional customer experience and meeting van sales targets
The role
- Ensure all parts on the invoice are loaded efficiently and effectively onto the delivery van
- Achieve own sales targets through building excellent customer relationships
- Ensure the highest levels of customer service is provided through a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive and efficient van delivery service
- Check that all parts delivered match with the customer invoice
- Plan the most direct routes to meet customer requirements, taking into account delivery reference and customer prioritisation
In order to be successful for the Van Sales Driver position, you must:
- Hold a current and full clean driving licence - Age 25 + for insurance
- Have experience of selling through building strong customer relationships
- Be able to lift and carry heavy items
- Have an honest disposition due to cash handling responsibilities
- Be methodical and pay attention to detail
- Be computer literature
Warehouse Operative
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective control of inbound and outbound warehouse parts stock whilst supporting the provision of an excellent service to customers.
The role will include;
- Checking all incoming stock deliveries against pack notes and ensure all parts have a parts number
- Advising on any discrepancies promptly; marking paperwork accordingly
- Checking for damages on incoming parts orders and record any issues
- Identifying and placing inbound parts into the correct locations (stock items, customer orders etc.)
- Picking customer orders quickly and accurately to make ready for dispatch
- Maintaining stock securely and in good condition
- Providing the highest levels of customer service by picking parts accurately and assembling for the customer delivery run
In order to be successful for this position, you will;
- Have experience in a parts or distribution operation involving inventory control, goods inwards and order picking
- Have proven experience of providing great customer service
- Demonstrate a positive ‘can-do' attitude and an honest disposition
- Be able to lift and carry heavy items
