Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including delivery trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure cargo with care, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and maps, ensuring on-time deliveries
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and stock movement when required
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for commercial driving
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
- Familiarity with traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics
- Prior experience in heavy-duty driving or commercial transportation is a plus
