Part-Time Early Years Practitioner Wanted
Location: The Owl & Pussycat Nursery
Hours: Part-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and nurturing team.
About the Role:
As a key member of our setting, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children can thrive and develop to their full potential. You’ll be involved in planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition framework.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a preschool setting
- At least 1 year’s experience in a nursery (early years) setting
- Hold or be working towards a recognised SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of child development, observation and planning, and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing, team-focused attitude
- Registration with or eligibility to register with the SSSC
