About the Role
RHACC is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Community Interpreting Tutor to join our adult education and community learning programme on a variable hours basis.
RHACC delivers high-quality learning opportunities to a diverse community of adult learners, and we are looking for a tutor who can inspire and motivate learners, creating engaging and inclusive lessons and prepare and assess learners for achievement of community interpreting qualifications.
You will plan, deliver and assess high-quality community interpreting courses including the Level 3 Community Interpreting qualification and enable learners to build both their theory and practice evidence portfolios using a digital learning platform.
Your teaching will focus on creating interactive, student-centred learning experiences with an organised approach to all qualification course units.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience teaching community interpreting courses up to and including Level 3 to adult learners
- Be a qualified community interpreter with native or near native proficiency in an additional language to English
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
