We are seeking a passionate and energetic Autism Care Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care based on individual care plans tailored for young people with autism
- Support with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and recreational pursuits
- Foster effective communication using appropriate methods suited to each needs
- Assist in implementing therapeutic strategies and behavioral interventions as outlined in care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, progress notes, and any incidents
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and team members to promote consistent and holistic support
Requirements
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with autism or special needs
- Strong skills combined with excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of creating and following detailed care plans tailored for individual needs
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Compassionate attitude with a proactive approach to supporting their development
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required
