Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Education Support Assistant in our Nottingham Centre to assist with exams, tutoring sessions, and administrative tasks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to student success by providing essential support during exam periods, facilitating tutoring activities, and managing administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and have a passion for education and teaching.
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of examinations, including preparing rooms and following examination procedures.
- Provide one-to-one or small-group tutoring to primary school students, particularly in English and Maths.
- Support pupils with their learning, confidence and progress.
- Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, preparing documents and responding to emails.
- Maintain accurate and confidential pupil and examination records.
- Communicate professionally with pupils, parents, teachers and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, positive and well-organised learning environment.
- Support other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or interest in teaching or educational support roles is desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, tutors, and staff
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Enthusiasm for supporting student learning and development
- Basic proficiency with administrative tools such as spreadsheets, calendars, and record-keeping systems
- Flexible, adaptable and strong attention to detail.

Pay: £25,420.00-£26,000.00 per year
