We are seeking experienced high-quality Bench Joiners to join our expanding team on a full-time basis.
Successful applicants will experience a wide variety of work ranging from Hotel Reception Counters through to Solid Oak Shopfronts, from laminated curved desks to glazed fronted bookcase units and stair paneling.
An opportunity to site install may also be available.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be able to work to a high standard of finish, able to interpret and work from in-house detailed setting out drawings and cutting sheets and work as a Team or on your own initiative dependent on the task in hand.
You must be able to liaise and communicate well with other trade team members in our Drawing Office, Mill, Veneering, Solid Surfaces, and Spray Departments to provide a seamless workflow.
Must be able to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Must be able to commit to working 39 hours per week as a minimum – weekly paid (one week in arrears). 1.5 rate overtime after an initial 41 hours worked and a weekly bonus scheme in addition to overtime payments available.
Hours of Work - Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00 pm and Friday 7:30am – 3:00 pm
Must have proven experience as a Bench Joiner and a proficiency in using a variety of hand tools
Must have attention to detail and precision in measurement and craftsmanship
Must have good stamina and manual dexterity
