Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the hotel run smoothly, from managing staff to maintaining high standards of hospitality. Your ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff alike will be crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Lead and supervise hotel staff, ensuring all team members are trained and motivated to provide outstanding service.
- Oversee daily operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Develop new leads for groups and leisure travel business
- Proven track record for guest reviews and social media management
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Foster a positive environment for both guests and employees by promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel’s services and offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in compliance procedures in terms of Fire safetey, Food & Hygiene and Health & Safetey and other annual regulations.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of hotel operations.
- Personal Licence is essential
