Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments to meet each client's unique needs.
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques to enhance client satisfaction.
- Provide specialized services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to create complete beauty looks.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Upsell salon products and additional services to maximize client experience and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices by sharing techniques, providing feedback, and fostering professional growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain service options clearly.
- Knowledge of current hair trends, styling techniques, and beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application.
- Ability to manage store operations efficiently, including scheduling and inventory management.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that builds lasting client relationships.
- Experience in store management or supervisory roles is a plus.
- Certification in cosmetology or barbering as required by local regulations; ongoing education is encouraged.

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
