Join our dynamic and small retail team as a Retail Assistant Manager, where your leadership and management skills will help sustain and support our long time established small shop on BUCKY DOO SQUARE store to improve sales, success and create an exceptionally friendly shopping experience for new and established customers. In this relaxed and calm role, you'll oversee daily operations, and help sales goals which are met through warm and friendly customer service. A smile goes a very long way in our friendly little environment as does honesty, willingness and openness. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to help support our local communities needs.
Duties
- Lead the retail team to achieve sales targets, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing our shop, inventory control, we have P.O.S systems in place to support this and the administrative tasks.
- Oversee visual merchandising displays to ensure a fresh look each month
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and maintain excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and employee performance for reporting purposes.
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a retail environment is necessary and previous work experience references will be required
- Excellent communication skills are highly valued.
- Experience with merchandising strategies and inventory management systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and basic office procedures
- To sum up we are looking for a good natured fun warm and friendly person who brings positive energies alongside retail experience. The job is for 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week from 9.30 until 5.30pm, there is a 30 minute lunch break to be taken at 1.30pm. There is also the Occasional coverage required for other staffs holiday periods and some unexpected sick days.
