To £15.00 per hour
Hours:
- 6:15am – 11:00am (typically)
- Up to 2pm if you wish to prep for evening service
- 5 or 6 days per week (flexible)

We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team.
The Role
You will take ownership of our breakfast service, preparing freshly cooked breakfasts to a consistently high standard.
We typically serve 18–35 breakfasts each morning, with a menu including:
- Full English Breakfasts
- Vegetarian and vegan breakfasts
- High demand for Poached and Scrambled egg for which we have an excellent reputation
- Bacon sandwiches and lighter breakfast options for guests leaving early
- Continental breakfasts
- Freshly baked pastries using our commercial pastry oven
The role suits someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in quality and enjoys creating a great start to our guests' day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook all breakfast dishes to a high standard
- Ensure breakfast service runs smoothly and efficiently
- Bake fresh pastries each morning
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements
- Ensure all food is presented consistently and attractively
- Work closely with the hotel reception and front-of-house team to ensure excellent guest service
- Clean down and leave the kitchen ready for the daytime team
Additional Opportunities

- Other kitchen duties depending on experience
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a breakfast or line chef
- Can work confidently on their own
- Is punctual and dependable
- Works efficiently under pressure
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food
- Holds a Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Has a positive, friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues
