Some people need more than care.
They need consistency.
They need calm people around them.
They need support workers who don’t take things personally, who can build trust over time, and who understand that every day won’t look the same.
We are recruiting female Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting one gentleman in Newark-on-Trent.
This is a role for someone who is emotionally resilient, quietly confident and able to maintain professional boundaries while building a positive working relationship
SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE, ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE FULL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK WITHOUT THE NEED FOR A VISA
What The Role Involves
You’ll work as part of a dedicated 2:1 team supporting one individual in his own home.
No two days are identical.
Some days will involve community access, conversation, personal care and supporting daily routines.
Other days will involve helping someone navigate frustration, anxiety or difficult moments whilst remaining calm and professional yourself.
Success in this role isn’t measured by how much you do for someone.
It’s measured by how consistently you show up, how well you work as part of a team, and how effectively you maintain professional boundaries.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be Female (due to the personal care nature of the role – Equality Act 2010)
- People describe you as calm under pressure
- You can remain professional even when someone is upset, frustrated or challenging
- You don’t need constant direction or supervision
- You are comfortable having honest conversations with colleagues
- You understand the difference between being friendly and becoming part of someone’s personal life
- You can leave work at work
- You value consistency, teamwork and reliability
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly pay
- 12-hour or 6-hour paid day shifts (08:00-14:00, 14:00-20:00 or 08:00-20:00) on a regular rota
- 12-hour paid night shifts (20:00-08:00) on a regular rota
- Comprehensive training tailored to this client’s needs
- Ongoing support from a responsive management team
- A supportive, respectful 2:1 working environment
- Opportunity to build trust and make a lasting difference in someone’s daily life
Team Culture
We are looking for people who understand that supporting someone with complex needs is a team effort.
We expect our team members to communicate openly, support each other and maintain consistent approaches.
This is not a service where people work in isolation and simply hand problems to someone else.
We work together, learn together and support each other.
Why Join Us?
Many complex care adverts focus on behaviours.
We focus on people.
We believe good support comes from building skilled, stable teams who know the person they support and know each other.
If you’re looking for a role where consistency matters, where your judgement is valued and where you’ll genuinely make a difference to someone’s daily life, we’d love to hear from you.
