We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Highways Project Officers to join our Highway Project Delivery team. This is an exciting career graded opportunity (Grades 5-7) offering the chance to develop your career whilst helping deliver a varied programme of highway and infrastructure improvements across North Lincolnshire. Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you will support the development and delivery of projects from initial concept through to construction and completion, helping to improve the highway network for residents, businesses and visitors.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting the delivery of highway improvement projects from inception through to construction and completion.

Undertaking surveys, site investigations, scheme design and project development.

Preparing project documentation, cost estimates and technical reports.

Monitoring works on site and supporting contract delivery.

Working with contractors, stakeholders and local communities to help deliver successful projects.

Contributing to the delivery of highway, drainage, structures, road safety and active travel schemes.
What we’re looking for
-
A Level 4 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline (HNC or equivalent), or working towards one for entry at Grade 5.

Experience working in highways, civil engineering, construction or project delivery.

Good organisational and problem-solving skills.

The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Experience using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
