Bartender – Calvo Loco Exmouth
Full-Time / Part-Time | Exmouth | £12.75–£13.50 per hour + Tronc/Tips
Calvo Loco is coming to Exmouth, and we’re looking for a confident, energetic Bartender to join the opening team at our new tapas bar.
Following the success of our Exeter restaurant, we're opening our second Calvo Loco in the heart of Exmouth.
Our bar is a big part of the Calvo Loco experience — Spanish wines, beers, sangria, cocktails and plenty of personality. We're looking for someone who can deliver great drinks quickly while still making guests feel welcome.
The role
You'll be responsible for:
- Making cocktails consistently and efficiently
- Serving Spanish wines, beers, spirits and sangria
- Setting up and closing down the bar
- Keeping the bar clean, stocked and organised
- Preparing garnishes and bar mise en place
- Taking orders and chatting confidently with guests
- Supporting stock rotation and deliveries
- Helping the floor and running drinks/food when required
- Maintaining excellent standards during busy services
Who we're looking for
Previous bar experience is preferred, particularly in a busy restaurant, cocktail bar or similar environment.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident making and learning cocktails
- Fast and organised behind the bar
- Friendly and comfortable talking to customers
- Reliable and a strong team player
- Calm when the bar gets busy
- Interested in Spanish wine, spirits and cocktails
- Happy to help across the restaurant rather than staying behind the bar all night
- Available to work evenings and weekends
