About the Role
CF Fire Door is looking for an experienced Fire Door Site Coordinator / Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our fire door installation and remedial works across London. This is a hands-on, van-based role responsible for coordinating our installation teams, delivering materials to site, and ensuring jobs of all sizes — small, medium, and large — run smoothly from start to finish.
You'll be the key link between the office, the workers on site, and other members of the team, keeping jobs on schedule, well-supplied, and communicated clearly at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily work schedules for fire door installation teams across multiple sites in London
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites in a timely manner using the company van
- Oversee and manage small, medium, and large fire door jobs simultaneously, ensuring they progress on schedule
- Act as the main point of contact on site for workers, clients, and the wider CF Fire Door team
- Communicate job updates, delays, or issues clearly and promptly to management and colleagues
- Monitor site progress and quality of work, flagging any issues early
- Ensure fire door installations meet BM TRADA / FIRAS standards and relevant fire safety regulations
- Manage stock levels and coordinate material orders/deliveries to avoid site delays
- Maintain accurate records of job progress, materials used, and site visits
- Support with site inductions, health & safety compliance, and general site organisation
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working with BM TRADA / FIRAS certified fire door installation or coordination (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
- Excellent communication skills, both with on-site workers and office-based team members
- Full, clean UK driving licence (company van provided)
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and problem-solve on the go
- Good working knowledge of fire door regulations and site safety practices
- Comfortable using a phone/tablet for scheduling, reporting, and communication tools
