Part-Time Retail Relief Security Officer – B&Q
Location: B&Q Store (various UK locations)

About the Role
As a Retail Security Officer, you'll help create a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues while protecting the store against theft and loss. Full training and induction are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol the shop floor as a visible security presence.
- Monitor CCTV and electronic security systems.
- Deter and prevent theft and anti-social behaviour.
- Respond to incidents professionally and safely.
- Complete incident reports accurately.
- Work closely with store management and local police where required.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security standards.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not always essential.
- Five-year checkable employment history.
