Overview
We are an experienced, confident and friendly hygeienist, 1-2 days a week. (TBC)
***Duties***
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
- Perform hygiene therapy using NSK Varios Combi Pro2 machine.
- Confident in treating adults and children.
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
-Be confident in speaking to patients about overdue routine dental examinations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Administer local anesthesia.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to the CQC rules.
- Assistance for cleaning and sterilizing instruments will be provided. Please note this is a non assisted role.
****Requirements***
- Confident using NSK Varios Combi Pro2, training can be arranged for the right candidate.
- Valid Qualification Diploma in dental hygiene/dental hygiene therapy
- GDC registration
-Valid Indemnity
- Up to date CPD cycle (5 years)
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Proficiency in using computer software Carestream R4/Dentally
- Previous experience working in NHS or mixed practice. (please note we are a fully private pratice)
- Experience with medical imaging technology for diagnosing oral health conditions.
