General Administration & Operations Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive General Administration & Operations Assistant to join our team in Worcester.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys getting involved in different areas of a business rather than carrying out the same tasks every day. You will mainly be based from our Worcester office but will also work closely with our maintenance teams, customers, contractors and management.
The role will include, but is not limited to:

- General office administration and document preparation.
- Customer liaison by telephone and email.
- Attending meetings and taking notes/minutes.

Website, Advertising & Social Media
- Helping maintain and update the company's online presence.
- Assisting with social media content and advertising.

Office Organisation
- Helping keep the office organised, presentable and running efficiently.
- Ordering and managing office supplies where required.
- Assisting with filing, paperwork and general organisation.
- Helping introduce and maintain systems to improve the day-to-day running of the office.
Site Visits & Meetings
The role is primarily based at our office in Worcester, however there will be occasions where you will be required to travel to sites, customer meetings and other locations outside Worcester.
As our maintenance contracts operate nationwide, some longer-distance travel will occasionally be required. There may also be occasions where an overnight stay is necessary for meetings, site visits or other business requirements.
Key Skills & Attributes
We are looking for someone who is:
- Tech-savvy and confident using computers, email and online systems.
- Organised and able to manage several different tasks at once.
- Outgoing, confident and comfortable communicating with customers, contractors and colleagues.
- Able to work independently with limited direction.
- Proactive and willing to take responsibility for getting tasks completed.
- Professional and confident on the telephone and in meetings.
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
- Flexible and willing to help across different areas of the business.
- Able to work as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
- A holder of a full, clean UK driving licence.
About the Role
This is not a traditional desk-based administration position. We are looking for somebody who wants to become involved in the wider operation of the business and who is happy to turn their hand to different tasks when required.
The right person will have the opportunity to develop the role over time, take on additional responsibility and become an important part of the day-to-day running and organisation of the company.
