Jam Restaurant, Bar & Venue is currently looking for a Weekend Events Manager to join our team and oversee events service, The ideal applicant will have experience in running special occasion events including private parties, baby showers, hen parties etc.
Variable hours each week with a guaranteed minimum, mainly over 2 days occasionally 3 from Fri/Sat/Sun
Responsibilities and Duties
To ensure the smooth running and operation of the venue
Working to help meet and exceed sales targets that are set by the Owners.
Taking responsibility for the cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, FOH and any relevant areas.
Running the unit on designated shifts. following all appropriate opening/closing procedures and completing any tasks set.
Working with the Kitchen & FOH team and recruiting, training and mentoring the team.
Working with the owners to define clear objectives and necessary areas of development for new and existing employees.
This is a hands on role and the manager will have an active role during service.
