The Glenmore Trust is a long established organisation and some 30+ years later we are still going strong. We support Adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health & other associated disabilities. The Glenmore Trust is a local organisation “Enabling people to achieve a life of their choosing”.
To assist with recruitment and retention, from 1st July 2022, any Support staff travelling more than 10 miles from home to Penrith services as part of their normal commute will be paid and additional hour to compensate for their travel time to and from these services. Payments will be made at the usual hourly rate and shall be paid as part of usual monthly salary, subject to the usual Tax and National Insurance contributions. This does not apply to any other staff group.
From 1st October 2022 the Glenmore Trust is introducing a new approach specifically to aid the recruitment of new Support Workers for Penrith and Eden services only.
The new approach will be as follows:
· A one-off welcome payment will be made to Support Workers recruited to work in Penrith and Eden services in the sum of £250 (“the Payment”). The Payment will be paid to newly appointed Support Workers after they have claimed the Payment on the timesheet that they submit after the completion of the first full month of their employment.
