If the answer is yes, an exciting opportunity exists to join our teaching team at SupaJam, one of the country’s leading education providers.With so many of our young people having previously fallen out of formal education we use their passion for music to reignite their desire to learn and achieve. We teach the RSL Music Practitioners Diploma (business pathway) at levels 1-3, as well as English and Maths and additional programmes that cover SMSC, British Values, Practical Musicianship and work experience.To continue the growth and educational excellence of the organisation, we are now seeking an new English Teacher to join our team!

Requirements
- Minimum Level 4 teaching qualification
- The ability to teach Entry Level Functional Skills up to GCSE qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of assessment strategies and their effective implementation
- Deliver inspirational teaching, learning and assessment to promote high levels of student satisfaction and success
- Have experience in creating detailed and highly effective schemes of work and lesson plans that motivate learners and ensure high success rates
- The ability to uphold the SupaJam ethos at all times and manage difficult situations calmly
- Working collaboratively with others to develop pedagogy

- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS
- Pass all teacher checks
