Group Engineering Project Manager
Broadways Stampings and Dyson Diecasting are two well established is an independently privately owned companies, and are the leading supplier for complex high integrity manufactured solutions in the automotive, off highway building and electronics manufacturing sectors.
As part of our ongoing expansion we are looking to recruit an experience Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Bletchley. Providing engineering and quality Project Management Support services across the Group.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering the project plans for all new projects in the group, identifying key milestone and resource requirements. You will be coordinating the activities between the engineering, quality, production and procurement teams to ensure product integration, manufacturing strategy and ensure quality of design.
In order to meet the requirements of his role we are looking for engineers who have a background in NPI Project Management The company will also provide in house training to enable your technical progression and support your career development.
The Role:
- Lead and define all aspect of work related to all projects into the business and provide necessary information to senior management team and shop floor.
- Define and ensure project controls processes are effectively implemented and maintained during each project lifecycle.
- Define and set project controls processes and procedures including gated reviews, monitoring, priorities, dependencies, procurement, quality, work authorisation, change control, approvals and stakeholder management
- Establish and implement realistic and achievable plans to meet the overall project requirements.
- Chair project reviews internal and external and at customers.
- Provide project status updated including management reports; internal and external reviews; progress against plan and budget
- Provide progress and key risk briefing to Senior Management team.
- Project cost management.
The Person:
- Engineering Degree or relevant time served experience.
- Previous Project Management NPI experience
- APMP or Prince 2 Qualification
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong IT skills – MS Office, MS Projects, Scrum
- Continuous personal development
- Driving licence and passport.
