Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Concierge and Medical Secretary to join our boutique plastic and cosmetic surgery practice. This vital role combines front-desk patient engagement with administrative excellence, ensuring a seamless experience for patients from their initial contact through their visit. As the first point of contact, you will foster a welcoming environment, co-ordinate appointments, book surgeries, liaise with hospitals and providers and manage essential administrative tasks to support our internationally-known surgeons. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver outstanding patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly on the phone and upon arrival, creating a positive and professional first impression
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments with precision and flexibility
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using electronic health record systems
- Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to appropriate team members
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Assist with billing procedures, insurance verifications, and payment processing as needed
- Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and external partners to facilitate smooth operations
- Chase patient satisfaction questionnaires and manage online reviews
Qualifications
- Prior office experience in a healthcare or medical setting is highly preferred
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in scheduling software and electronic health records
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- digital media experience and /or graphic design experience a bonus
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and uphold patient confidentiality
- Comfortable working with diverse populations and providing compassionate service

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
