Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to play a key role in delivering the UK's transition to net zero?
Olympus Power is a leading developer, owner and operator of commercial and utility-scale renewable energy assets across the UK. With our headquarters in Exeter and a growing presence in Leeds, we are expanding our delivery team and are seeking an ambitious and technically capable Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV projects ranging from 100kW to utility scale.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of commercial rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV projects across the UK.
- Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, installation teams, consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring milestones and contractual obligations are achieved.
- Procure materials, equipment and specialist services in line with project requirements.
- Conduct site surveys, pre-construction assessments and technical reviews.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, risks and programme performance.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Review and manage RAMS, permits and site documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records using CRM and project management systems.
- Lead regular project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
- Support commissioning, testing, energisation and project handover activities.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients, DNOs, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
About You
You will be an organised and proactive project professional with a strong technical understanding of Solar PV systems and a passion for delivering high-quality renewable energy projects.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing commercial-scale Solar PV projects.
- Proven experience delivering both rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV installations.
- Strong understanding of PV system design, construction and commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of UK grid connection processes, including G99 and G100 requirements.
- Ability to interpret electrical and Solar PV designs and technical documentation.
- APM qualification or equivalent
- Excellent project planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability.
- Confident in MS office applications and CRM (HubSpot preferred)
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Electrical contracting background.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
- Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Knowledge of HV/LV infrastructure and DNO processes.
- SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience working on utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Salary: £45,000–£60,000 DOE + Benefits
