We're an Edinburgh-based organisation working with clients across customer services, sales operations, and account support. Our portfolio spans local businesses through to national brands, and our day-to-day work relies on strong coordination, solid leadership, and operations that run without drama.
About the role
The Junior Operations Manager position is a genuine development role. You won't be thrown in the deep end, and you won't be stuck making tea either. You'll shadow and support senior managers and team leaders, learn how client operations actually work, and take on more responsibility as you find your feet.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Helping coordinate operational activity across client accounts
- Getting involved in planning, scheduling, and workflow management
- Supporting team leaders with team performance and service delivery
- Contributing to client communication and account support
- Keeping an eye on processes, service quality, and performance metrics
- Assisting with reporting, project coordination, and internal ops tasks
- Building your leadership skills through hands-on work and mentoring
Who we're looking for
This role fits someone who's either at the start of their management career or ready to make the jump into a junior leadership position. You don't need years of experience — you do need the right instincts.
Specifically, you'll likely be someone who:
- Is genuinely interested in operations, business, and leading teams
- Stays organised when several things are moving at once
- Communicates confidently with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven setting
- Is proactive rather than waiting to be told
- Has real ambition to grow into a senior operations role
What we offer
- Full-time, permanent role based in Edinburgh
- Structured onboarding and ongoing professional development
- A clear path into Operations Manager and senior leadership positions
- Exposure to a range of industries and operational functions
- Hands-on mentoring from a supportive management team
- Long-term career development inside a growing organisation

If you want to build a career in operations management and get genuine hands-on leadership experience along the way, we'd like to hear from you.
