We are looking for a dedicated positive Female Assistant to support a young lady in her early 30’s on a one to one basis within her family home where she lives with her parents.
The client has cerebral palsy and uses a manual wheelchair (unable to transfer).She is non verbal but uses an eye gaze and I pad to communicate.The home is fully adapted to meet her needs,overhead hoist for transfer and fully adapted vehicle(Volkswagen Caddy Automatic)
The client requires assistance with all her personnel care and dressing together with feeding and drinking.
She loves going out and about and lives life to the full,she has a great sense of humour,loves concerts,music , shopping,eating out and being pampered(favourite place is Ribby Hall for her eyebrows and facials)
She also gives presentations to schools and colleges using her eye gaze on how she manages her disability and how it affects her daily life.

Salary: £16.00 - £16.50 per hour.

Personal qualities: MUST be reliable, positive, empathetic, sense of humour.
Working hours: Initially 21 hours worked over 3 days (11.00am - 6.00pm) building up to 28 hours over 4 days.
MUST have full UK driving licence and be able to drive an automatic vehicle (Volkswagen Caddy Life).
DBS required.
References required.
Pay: £16.00-£16.50 per hour
