Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bespoke Events Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in organising and delivering exceptional bespoke events, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, food service, or hotel environments is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of bespoke event spaces, ensuring all elements meet client specifications
- Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food preparation and service
- Support with food preparation tasks as required, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional guest services, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during events
- Assist in clearing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting spaces for subsequent events
- Contribute to the overall organisation of events, including liaising with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, serving, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules
- A friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Prior hotel or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is essential
