We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage merchandising activities, including stock organisation, visual displays, and inventory control
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of staff
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills
- Implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and optimise product placement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership
Qualifications
- Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales management roles
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to supervise diverse teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Previous experience in retail management or related fields is preferred
- Professional demeanour with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
