We are seeking a motivated Trainee Wireperson to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly and wiring of electrical components using hand tools and power tools
- Learn to operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) equipment
- Support the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery
- Follow technical drawings, schematics, and safety procedures accurately
- Participate in training programmes to develop mechanical knowledge and electrical skills
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety standards are met
- Collaborate with experienced technicians to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical systems or mechanical principles is desirable but not essential
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or assembly work is advantageous
- Practical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work safely following health and safety guidelines
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
