Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organised Part Time Administrator to support our office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent support to our team. The ideal applicant will possess strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and prior administrative experience. Experience the furniture industry would be beneficial.
Duties
- Manage incoming calls and emails with professional etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Maintain organised filing systems both digitally and physically
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
- Support invoicing and billing processes through QuickBooks or similar software
- Handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and organising office supplies
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised
- Support team members with various clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or administrative background
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
