About Coastal Heating
Coastal Heating is a growing heating company based in North Norfolk, providing domestic heating services across the local area.
We have built our reputation around reliable workmanship and good customer service, and we're looking for an experienced engineer to join our team as the business continues to grow.
This is a varied role for someone who is comfortable working independently and has strong experience across servicing, breakdowns, repairs and installations.
The Role
You'll work predominantly across North Norfolk, carrying out a mixture of domestic boiler servicing, breakdown diagnostics, repairs and installation work across natural gas and LPG systems. Your diary is planned and managed by our office team, allowing you to concentrate on the engineering work and looking after the customer.
You'll be trusted to work independently, diagnose problems thoroughly and complete work to a high standard while communicating clearly with both customers and the office team.
Working Hours
The role is based around 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of approximately 8am to 4pm. We don’t currently operate unscheduled out of hours, or weekend work. Additional bonus payments apply for any agreed overtime.
What You'll Be Doing
- Domestic boiler servicing and maintenance
- Breakdown diagnostics and fault finding
- Boiler and heating system repairs
- Domestic boiler installations and replacements
- Natural gas and LPG work
- Working independently and taking ownership of jobs from diagnosis through to completion
- Completing accurate digital job reports and engineer notes
- Communicating clearly with customers and the office team
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment in customers' homes and company vehicle.
- Working across a range of manufacturers including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Viessmann, Grant and Glow-worm
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working independently across servicing, breakdowns, repairs and installations.
You'll need to be thorough in your work, hardworking and able to communicate well with customers and colleagues.
A friendly and professional approach is important. We're a growing company and want someone who can become a long-term part of the team rather than simply move from job to job.

- Full UK Driving Licence
Salary & Benefits
- Starting base salary of £38,000 to £42,000 depending on experience.
- Up to £2,000 annual performance bonus
