How the role will make an impact:
The Engineering Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager and will work with product engineering, maintenance, operations, divisional engineering teammates and outside equipment manufacturers to ensure new/existing equipment development projects are successful.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Direct and monitor all activities relating to manufacturing operations, equipment and processes.
- Oversee design and development of equipment with the highest degree of quality and longevity competitively to OEM suppliers.

Multiple project level activities in the areas of Plant/Machinery improvements.

Existing equipment modification, enhancement and testing.

Manage and present design proposals for discussion and evaluation with management.
- Evaluates cost recommendations concerning project level design activity and equipment/tooling projects.
Establish and communicate clear and measurable expectations of performance and provide frequent feedback to ensure the achievement of goals and personal development for employees.

Key Skills:

Proven experience of supervision and/or project leadership experience required in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Excellent electrical/mechanical aptitude and experience of high-speed machinery.

Experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
