Due to the ongoing success of Arbor Restaurant at The Green House, we are currently recruiting for a kitchen porter.
Arbor Restaurant holds 2 AA Rosettes and the Gold award for Dorset Tourism Best Restaurant. We offer well cooked, honest, uncomplicated but imaginative food. We are passionate about sourcing both classic and new ingredients, to create inspired seasonal menus. Arbor has a modern, informal atmosphere with seating for 40 covers.
Report to: Head Chef
Duties include:
- To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the sections as directed
- To ensure that all kitchen ware is cleaned and well maintained
- Ensure all waste is sorted for recycling and keep bin area tidy
- Use all PPE and cleaning equipment appropriately
- To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately
- To comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that all-statutory regulations are observed
- To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies
- To be flexible and willing to help other departments at if required
