Dunbar Education is currently recruiting SEN Teachers to work across a variety of specialist schools, mainstream schools with SEN Units, and alternative provisions throughout Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead.
We have opportunities supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), SEMH, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech & Language needs and other additional learning needs.
Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families
- Implementing EHCP targets and individual learning plans
- Creating safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environments
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience working with pupils with SEND is highly desirable
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
