Summary
We are seeking an apprentice chef to join our team at The Countryman Inn, located in the heart of the countryside. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional culinary experiences that reflect our commitment to quality and local ingredients. The 12 month apprentiship will teach efficient techniques for preparing, cooking, and presenting food while upholding high standards of safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
You’ll build a strong foundation in culinary operations, working with standardised recipes to maintain quality and consistency in every dish.
Some kitchen experience is needed and full on site training is provided with HIT apprenticeships leading to professional cookery qualifactions.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using seasonal local ingredients.
- Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for cooking with local ingredients and creating seasonal menus.
