About us.
Invanity is the revenue-first marketing agency driven by the desire to help clients connect their marketing activity to commercial outcomes. We operate across brand and performance marketing, both of which are built upon foundations of intelligent strategy, powerful creative and expert activation.
The role.
We're looking for a Marketing Strategist who’ll take briefs across a varied portfolio of clients and shape them into intelligent, commercially grounded strategies.
You'll build a deep understanding of each client's business and the market they operate in, so every strategy is built on real context. You'll map plans across the full buyer journey from awareness to consideration to conversion, and across both brand and performance marketing. You’ll give clients a clear picture of where they are, where they need to get to, and how we'll get them there.
The strategies you develop will inform how the wider teams across creative, activation, and account management work together to achieve the client’s commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities.
- Turn client briefs into clear, commercially grounded marketing strategies aligned to their objectives.
- Conduct market research to build clear context and unearth insight that informs strategy.
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of each client's business, customers, and industry.
- Define audiences, behaviours, and motivations.
- Conduct customer journey mapping, ICP Development, and buyer persona creation.
- Develop messaging and positioning frameworks to inform content and campaigns.
- Produce written content to support the activation of the strategies you create.
- Work closely with account, creative, and performance teams for strategy development and activation alignment.
- Develop strategies spanning Account Based Marketing (ABM), Go-to-Market (GTM), Content, Creative Campaigns and Demand Generation.
Requirements.
- Proven experience in marketing strategy, ideally agency-side.
- Strong understanding of Account Based Marketing (ABM), Go-to-Market (GTM) planning, messaging and positioning, and demand generation.
- Confidence presenting strategies to clients and holding your own in the room.
- Ability to translate a brief into a structured, actionable strategy.
- Clear understanding of the buyer journey and marketing’s role in influencing it.
- Sharp commercial thinking and ability to tie strategies back to revenue.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
What we're looking for.
- A strategic thinker who challenges a brief rather than just accepting it.
- A genuine interest in marketing and strategy, with a habit of keeping up with current thinking and theory and applying it in real work.
- Someone who thrives working across a varied portfolio of clients and industries.
