Job Summary
Join our friendly team at Jack & Abel as a Pack & Post Luxury Homeware Associate, where your energy and precision will ensure our high-end products are beautifully prepared for delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously handling, packing, and shipping (often delicate) homeware items, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will contribute to maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence.
We have a 5 star customer service rating which it’s vital to uphold.
Duties
- Carefully select and handle pieces, ensuring each item is prepared with care for shipment
- Wrap and pack all orders in tissue paper and ribbon, making them look attractive and appealing to customers
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory, update stock levels, and process shipments accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare luxury homeware items for shipping, ensuring quality control standards are met
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to maintain an organized workspace
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to identify any damages or defects before dispatch
- Regular stock takes
- Dropping the parcels at local post office where they are scanned for delivery
Experience
- A sense of aesthetics - to wrap gifts both beautifully and securely
- Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory software required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control standards
