We are looking for an experienced Café Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Printworks Coffee in Portobello.
The role involves preparing breakfast and morning rolls, sandwiches, brunch dishes and other café food, while keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparing breakfast and morning rolls
- Preparing and cooking brunch dishes
- Making sandwiches and other café food
- General food preparation and stock organisation
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Working efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch service
- Supporting the café team when required
Previous experience in a café, brunch kitchen, breakfast service or similar food environment is preferred.
We are looking for someone reliable, organised and comfortable working independently in the kitchen during busy periods.
Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week, including a mix of weekdays and weekends.
Location: Printworks Coffee, Portobello, Edinburgh
Pay: £12.80-£13.50 per hour
