Duties
- Assist qualified electricians with installation
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently without supervision
- Support in measuring, cutting, and preparing materials for electrical work
- Help with wiring, conduit installation, and connection of electrical components
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow instructions carefully to complete assigned tasks within project deadlines
- Participate in safety briefings and adhere to all health and safety regulations on site
Qualifications
- Basic experience with commercial installation and power tools used in electrical work is preferred
- Demonstrable interest or experience in the electrical trade is advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment
- Must be willing to learn quickly and develop practical skills under supervision
- A recognised qualification or background in electrical experience is desirable but not essential
