At Haven House Children's Hospice, we believe every child and family deserves exceptional, compassionate and responsive care. As we continue to grow, develop our services and strengthen our partnerships across the health system, we are looking for an experienced and delivery-focused leader to join our Care Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys turning plans into reality. Working directly with the Director of Clinical Services and alongside operational leads, you will provide hands-on leadership across multiple programmes and projects, helping to ensure that service developments are implemented safely, effectively and with families at the centre.
This is not a traditional project management role. We are looking for someone who understands healthcare, can navigate complexity and has the ability to maintain momentum and deliver change within busy clinical environments.
You will provide implementation and support leadership across a range of priorities, including:
- Service expansion programmes
- New models of care and integrated pathways
- Digital developments and service improvements
- Governance, quality and CQC readiness support
- Family engagement and equitable access to services
- Monitoring delivery, managing risks and maintaining programme oversight
Working across nursing, therapies, family support and operational teams, you will help ensure ideas become embedded practice and improvements translate into better experiences for children and families.
You will be:
- A registered healthcare professional with significant experience in service development, implementation or operational leadership
- Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic organised and solutions focused
- Skilled at bringing people together and maintaining delivery momentum
- Able to identify risks and barriers and work collaboratively to overcome them
- Passionate about improving services for children and families
Experience within children's services, palliative care, community healthcare or complex care environments would be advantageous.

- Pension Scheme (employee matching up to 7%)
- Free onsite parking
- Employee Assistance Programme

- Cycle to work scheme
