K N Sons Recovery Ltd is a growing family-run vehicle recovery business, and we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated person to join our team.

The Role
We are looking for a recovery driver to carry out vehicle recovery and roadside assistance work across East London and Essex.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 10–12 hour days
- Weekend overtime available for those who want to earn extra
- Self-employed position
Requirements
The successful applicant must:
- Live in or around the Dagenham / Romford area
- Be over 30 years old for insurance purposes
- Have a full UK driving licence suitable for the vehicles being driven
- Have previous experience driving a large van, recovery truck or similar vehicle
- Be reliable, punctual and willing to work
- Be comfortable working long days
- Have good customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Be able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Have basic mechanical knowledge
Basic mechanical knowledge would include being confident with tasks such as:
- Changing a vehicle wheel/tyre
- Jump-starting a vehicle
- Basic roadside assistance
- Safely securing vehicles for recovery
Previous recovery experience is preferred, but we may consider someone with the right driving experience, attitude and willingness to learn.
