We’re looking for an ambitious and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a team of 18 at our site in Boroughbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing company in the FMCG industry.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (42.5 Hours) £15ph, temp to perm
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety
- Ensure all team members follow H&S procedures
- Identify and resolve potential hazards
- Promote a culture of safety-first on the shop floor
Quality & Compliance
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain high housekeeping standards (clean-as-you-go)
- Ensure products are made right first time
Production Performance
- Support and drive team KPIs
- Identify ways to reduce downtime
- Escalate plant or process issues promptly
People Leadership
- Train and develop team members
- Create and ensure SOPs are followed
- Encourage ownership and accountability
- Manage performance issues and escalate when needed
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a Production Supervisor, Line Leader, Team Leader, or similar in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong leadership qualities
- A proactive mindset focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement
- Desire to grow and develop yourself
