Sales Administrator
Location: Grovepark Mills, Hopehilll Road, Glasgow, G20 7NF
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Stockline Plastics Ltd is one of Scotland's leading suppliers of plastic sheet, engineering plastics and fabricated plastic products, supplying customers across a wide range of industries throughout Scotland.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join our Glasgow office.
Working alongside our Sales Director and Office Manager, you will become an important member of a small, friendly office team where your contribution will make a real difference. This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support and office administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and being at the centre of a busy office.
The Role
As a Sales Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with their enquiries.
- Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing customer quotations.
- Entering sales orders and producing customer invoices.
- Welcoming customers visiting the office and providing a professional first impression.
- Liaising with colleagues across our other branches to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Providing administrative support to the Sales Director and Office Manager to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and filing systems.
As part of a small office team, no two days are the same. We are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and happy to support wherever required.
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be organised, accurate and have a good attention to detail.
- Be confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Be able to prioritise their workload and work efficiently in a busy office.
- Enjoy working as part of a small team.
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Previous experience in customer service, sales administration or general office administration would be an advantage, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Experience of working in a busy office environment or dealing directly with customers would also be beneficial, but is not essential.
