A high-achieving secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking two Psychology Graduate Support Workers to join their team from September. The school supports a large cohort of students with additional learning needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and is looking for graduates who are committed to making a meaningful difference.

This is a temp to permanent opportunity, starting September. You will have the option of going permanent after 2 terms.
Role Overview – Psychology Graduate Support Worker
- Ideal experience for aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Therapists, Counsellors, or Mental Health Practitioners
- Comprehensive on-the-job training provided from day one
- Working hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
- Access to an in-house teacher training pathway for those pursuing teaching careers
- Daily pay starts at £118, increasing to £142 after 12 working weeks
- Located in Wandsworth with excellent Northern and South-West rail connections
Key Responsibilities - Psychology Graduate Support Worker
- Supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs both in and outside the classroom
- Delivering 1:1 support and mentoring
- Assisting with small group and intervention sessions
- Helping manage behaviour and promote positive engagement
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including specialist SEN teachers, SENCo, Educational Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapist, and experienced support staff
