Cygnets Art School Swansea Central is looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable new assistants to help run our classes! Please read all information carefully, as this is a part-time, freelance position and may not suit everyone.
Cygnets is a fine art school franchise for children (ages 5-12), teaching traditional drawing, painting, and sculpture using professional materials. Classes run after school and weekends during term time, plus holidays.
Role: Assist in term-time and holiday classes at the Swansea Central branch, with groups of up to 16 students.
Hours:
- Term time: Mondays 4-5pm, Wednesdays 4:15-5:15pm, Thursdays 3:15-4:15pm, Saturdays 2-3pm
- Holidays: Various half term and school holidays
Pay: £12.71/hr (includes preparation and cleanup time).
Requirements:
- Strong artistic skills, particularly drawing and painting
- Passion for working with children
- Reliability and good organization
- (Preferred) Teaching experience and local school connection
