Sous Chef – Permanent Contract – Live-in accommodation available.
Betws-y-Coed, Snowdonia.
Every memorable dining experience at the Royal Oak Hotel begins behind the scenes with our culinary team’s commitment to an efficient service and exceptional cuisine. With two restaurants, a bar food service and outdoor dining, you’ll be working in busy, yet exciting kitchens, working with fresh, seasonal, local ingredients, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn new techniques and put your ideas into our dishes!
We're looking for a strong passionate Sous who not only enjoys delivering the best on the plate but also relishes in passing on skills and mentoring new recruits. Mentoring and Leadership are key qualities for this role.

About Us
We’re an award-winning family-owned hospitality business who've been operating in the Eryri National Park for over 50 years. Our three hotels; Waterloo Hotel, Royal Oak Hotel and Stables Lodge are all based in Betws-y-Coed. Y Stablau is a mordern interpertation of the village pub - which hosts regualr event nights and stocks a huge range of local drinks and ales. Accross our sites we have 5 restaurants, 3 bars, outdoor eating and drinking areas, take-away services, spa, beauty, swimming, fitness and leisure facilities and host weddings, private functions and business events.
