Job Title: Yard Operative
Job Types: Full-time, 3-month temporary contract
Company & Location: ProAmpac, Europarc, Grimsby
As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for the safe operation of forklift trucks and the accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of materials. You’ll be the first and last check for all materials entering and leaving the warehouse, ensuring accurate deliveries.
Duties:
- As the Yard Operative you are appointed as the first and last check person for all material entering and leaving the warehouse ensuring all deliveries are accurate and correct, paying attention to detail.
- Reporting any issues to warehouse and transport relating to non-fulfilment of orders in a timely manner.
- To ensure the safe and efficient storage, segregation of materials.
- Inspect vehicle cleanliness and contamination before loading/unloading.
- Join our team and explore various roles within the factory, with progression opportunities available as you develop your skills and interests.
- Ensure that all materials that are received or dispatched are prepared to specification.
- Accurate scanning of product for receipt and dispatch.
- To ensure that all quality and safety standards are adhered to at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse, yard or logistics experience.
- FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
- Good communication skills.
Hours: 42.5
Shift Pattern:
· Monday to Friday
